Everything grows and grows

Babies do. Caroline, too. Our granddaughter is getting longer and stronger. Being with her one day a week is like watching one of those freeze-frame films that speeds up, say, the opening of a flower bud. Where once she could merely bat at her toys, now she grabs them, shakes them, shoves them in her mouth. She can hold her bottle of formula in two hands. She eats! - strained vegetables or fruit mixed with rice cereal mush.

This Wednesday she played happily for the first time in the exersaucer I bought her a few weeks ago. Much love for the red dog toy.
